Pokémon Go, PlayStation, Xbox, League of Legends and much more are coming to Auckland Armageddon!
The place to be for lovers of video games, Auckland Armageddon brings the latest gaming exhibits from PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo and much more will be! The annual event that always returns over Labour weekend, will find itself once more at the ASB Showgrounds from October 21st to the 24th.
The 2016 Auckland event will bring its first ever Pokémon GO Lurefest! Running from Saturday to Monday at 7:30am to 9:00am each morning at Cornwall park, it will be guaranteed fun for any Pokémon Go player with every PokéStop having an active lure for the full 2-hour period!
Trainers will also get their first look at the new Pokémon Sun and Moon titles for 3DS at the Nintendo stand.
PlayStation is bringing its finest with a feature display for the PlayStation VR. The VR[note]Virtual Reality[/note] gaming headset developed by Sony, produces a new way for gamers to immerse themselves in the world of PlayStation.
Xbox will also be displaying one of its greatest gaming lineups in Xbox history with Gears of War 4, Halo Wars 2, Forza and Recore on display!
And for fans of League of Legends, community gatherings or free stuff (see: competitions), prepare yourself for a fun filled and action packed night at Auckland Armageddon on Saturday the 22nd of October! From 6:30pm to 10pm, the Oceanic Gaming Auckgeddon team will be bringing you a healthy dosage of all things LoL with FRIENDS OF THE RIFT!
With loads of prizes up for grabs and just $10 entry, you won’t want to miss any of the action, so bring yourself, bring a friend or bring your whole dynamic queue and come and join the fun on Saturday night!
Finally on the Monday, you can take a seat at the Leaping Tiger Gaming Lounge!
A one day only event presented by Leaping Tiger and hosted by co-founder Amy Potter (@HelloMissPotter), Gaming Lounge will showcase the best the gaming industry has to offer, featuring Live Panels, Video Game Showcases, Interactive Let’s Plays, Spot Prizes and more!
