Well this is kind of refreshing!
I can’t think of the last time I was excited for something in September, but with slight trickles of REVELATION sliding over the internet, PlayStation’s State Of Play may be the reason!
Confirming that news and the release date for The Last Of Us Part II will be shared, with a potential reveal for the-all-but-confirmed Batman title coming from WB Montreal, this State Of Play feels…huge.
Having pulled out of E3 this year, along with cancellation of their PlayStation Experience event, it’s fine to assume Sony are getting ready to rollover to the PlayStation 5.
But maybe…just maybe…they’re taking the PlayStation 4 down with style.
So join me here as I live-blog their State Of Play!
With some exciting reveals of new titles and more coming to the PlayStation 4, there’s potential that the very minor news was amplified by the sheer HYPE of The Last Of Us Part II.
As soon as that announcement appeared, along with its release date, editions to be released and the return of DADDY JOEL, everything that preceded it automatically earned 3000 more cool points.
Yes, ‘whelmed’ might be more fitting for today’s State of Play and that was always coming with the life-cycle wind-down.
But when you have The Last Of Us Part 2 in your announcement, you’re only walking away winning.
